The Irish hope to continue dominating and advance to the State Championship

Through their eleven games, the Rosemount Irish have dominated the competition winning all of their matchups. The run game has been particularly overpowering as Irish have averaged 259.9 rushing yards throughout ten of their eleven games. The overwhelming run game is not the only reason the team has succeeded this season. On the other side of the ball, the Irish defense has played extremely well, and have commanded their opponents. Impressively the defense has only given up ten plus points in three of their eleven games and has only had three games end as one score games. One of those games was against Rosemount’s opponent in this week's semifinal matchup, Eden Prairie.

Rosemount’s state semifinal game against Eden Prairie will be their first game at U.S Bank stadium. Rosemount’s first game versus Eden Prairie earlier this year wasn’t as close as it seemed. Through three quarters, the Irish were up 14-0, not allowing Eden Prairie to score until the 4-minute mark in the fourth quarter. Going into Friday's game the Irish will hope to replicate their success against Eden Prairie to advance to the state championship game.
